First of all, let me thank you. For what? I have tried to get into Eve Online four time since 2008 and have always failed to complete the tutorials. The game was simply too thick, specially for someone who generally prefers solo playing. Too big a universe, too much to learn and not enough action for lone noobs… you know the drill.
Well, it’s a familiar story: I watched the “this is eve” trailer and decided to give the game yet another try. The main difference between now and before is that your podcast kept me going back to the game. Every time I heard an episode I would have something new to try in the game and now I am obsessed with it. Not sure that is a good thing for the rest of my life, but it seems like a pre-requisite for sticking around in Eve. 🙂
Anyways, I am touched by your generosity and would like to give back to the podcast as you’ve given to me as a newbro. On episode 47 I heard Random mention you needed a new brand for the podcast so you guys could make some T-Shirts. Well, I happen to know a thing or two about brands so I decided to take on the challenge.
I put a little something together for you guys. Feel free to hate it and not use it. I just felt like I had to spend some energy trying to make a difference. That is enough for me right now. If you like it and end up using it then awesome! Here’s the link:
My in-game character is Lila Villiana (after my daughter). I should like to pursue a roam or two with any of you guys at some point in the future, once I grow some balls to leave HiSec.
